WIP’s mission extends beyond the current community of women who work in the investment industry. We also aim to empower and invest in the girls who will follow us as well as women who have faced hardships. We pursue this goal through partnerships with organizations whose missions align with our own.

Our Community Outreach initiatives are two-fold:

• Support and open doors for disadvantaged women. We partner with Deborah’s Place, an organization that offers supportive housing and services to homeless women in Chicago, with a goal of providing women their key to healing, achieving their goals, and moving on from the experience of homelessness.

• Foster enthusiasm in young girls to pursue investment careers. We are pursuing partnerships with Chicago-based middle schools, high schools, and universities to offer programs and events, such as career and college fairs, that encourage and inspire young women to excel in mathematics, economics, finance and business courses.
