University Program Launched to Provide Opportunities to Female Business Students

WIP’s Innovation Committee recently launched a new program, the University Program, designed to broaden awareness of WIP among female business students and provide then with educational and networking opportunities. As part of the initial outreach, WIP members met with and spoke to students about the various roles available to them in the financial services industry and resources they can leverage to navigate real-world job opportunities after college. The University Program aligns with WIP’s goal to broaden our membership base and expand our community outreach.

During 2023, 12 student members joined the pilot program from the University of Wisconsin, Loyola University and University of Illinois. In the future, we plan to pursue additional partnerships with select universities in the Chicago area, where the need for targeted women’s investment programming is greater.
