Today’s financial services workplace spans four generations - with each one bringing their own distinct communication preference, perspectives, expectations, and ways of working. While this diversity creates opportunity, it can also introduce friction, miscommunication, and misaligned assumptions.
Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking panel discussion on how women across generations can better understand, support, and collaborate with one another in the workplace.
This in-person event will begin with a 15-minute generational overview, offering context and data on how and why Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Baby Boomers tend to approach work, communication, and career development. We’ll then move into a moderated panel featuring women from each generation within the financial services industry, who will share candid insights and real-world experiences navigating these dynamics day to day.
Together, we’ll explore how generational differences show up in professional environments and how we can move beyond assumptions to build stronger, more effective working relationships.
Whether you’re early in your career or a seasoned leader, this session is designed to offer both perspective and practical insight you can immediately apply!
Attendees will walk away with: - A clearer understanding of how generational differences influence workplace expectations and behaviors
- Language and frameworks to navigate cross-generational dynamics with more confidence
- New perspectives that foster empathy, reduce friction, and improve collaboration
- Practical ideas for supporting and learning from colleagues at different career stage
