Kristen Doyle, CFA, Partner and Head of Public Funds, Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting, to Receive the 2019 Distinguished Woman Investment Professional of the Year Award

The award will be presented to Ms. Doyle at the Women Investment Professionals (WIP) Annual Trailblazer Dinner on November 14, 2019

Women Investment Professionals (WIP), a leading not-for-profit organization for professional women in the institutional investment management industry, announced it will be awarding its prestigious “Distinguished Woman Investment Professional of the Year” award to Kristen Doyle, CFA, Partner and Head of Public Funds, Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting, Inc. (AHIC). The award will be presented at WIP’s Annual Trailblazer Dinner on November 14, 2019 at The University Club of Chicago. The “Distinguished Woman Investment Professional” award seeks to recognize a leading figure for her contributions and achievements in the institutional investment management industry. Nominations for the award recipient are put forth by WIP members and ultimately selected by the WIP Board of Directors. “Kristen is a wonderful example of someone who started out in the back office and moved into a client-facing, business development, and leadership role within her organization. Kristen is known for both a high “IQ” and high “EQ.” She has shown that supporting women in this industry and putting in the time to mentor and to share her experiences is not only beneficial for those whom she mentors, but also rewarding, both personally and professionally,” said Susan Small, President of Women Investment Professionals.
Kristen leads AHIC’s public sector business and is a member of its U.S. Investment Executive Committee. She is responsible for new business development and thought leadership as well as ensuring that AHIC has the right resources, research, and expertise available for the public sector. Kristen also recently led the integration of The Townsend Group, which was acquired by Aon, responsible for both functional project management and financial goals.
Kristen previously led the trust services team in the U.S., focused on custody, securities lending, and transition management. Kristen was previously the global head of transition management, responsible for managing the transition management research and implementation team in the U.S., U.K., and Canada.
Kristen is also a member of the Board of Governors for Opportunity International, a leading micro-finance organization that provides loans and other financial services to the world’s most impoverished, empowering them to work their way out of poverty. She has a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Denison University. She is a CFA charterholder and member of CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago.
