STACY SCAPINO

Stacy has 28 years of experience within the pension, investment and banking industries. Stacy held several global leadership roles within Mercer, including being the Global Leader for the Multinational Corporate Client Segment from 2002 – 2005 and 2011 – 2016, as well as being the Global Leader and founding member of the Mercer Sentinel® Group from 2005 – 2011.  Mercer Sentinel is a specialist business unit within Mercer focused on operational and execution risks.  Before founding Sentinel, Stacy led the UK Implementation Consulting teams.  Prior to joining Mercer in the UK, Stacy was based in Mercer’s Chicago, Illinois office, where she led the United States Custody and Asset Administration team and the Defined Contribution Resource Center.

Prior to Mercer Stacy was a senior financial analyst responsible for research and policy development in Bank Supervision at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Her primary responsibilities were to provide Federal Reserve Senior Management and the Federal Reserve Board of Governors with analyses related to domestic and international capital markets, accounting and capital adequacy issues.

Stacy has a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Illinois and a Master of Arts in international economics and European history from the Johns Hopkins University Paul Nitze School for Advanced International Studies. She is a CFA Charterholder. 

Stacy was appointed for a three-year term to the ERISA Advisory Council starting January 2016. Stacy currently volunteers for the Red Cross in their CFO Workforce Planning team and with their HR Covid-19 Exposure Tracking team.  Stacy also volunteers with Urban Alliance Chicago to help young people in under-served communities understand financial services and how to develop skills relevant for the workplace. She also volunteers for Growing Home.
