Our careers are not just boxes checked and endless emails sent, they are real life, dynamic experiences with challenges, twists and turns, unexpected circumstances, and joyful successes. This year the Professional Development Committee will focus on reinventing the traditional perception of networking, reflect on how to maximize career opportunities, and explore how to rejuvenate and recharge our careers. Across all of these topics, we will get real and share our actual stories, drawing inspiration from our collective experiences.
Career Opportunities
We are often asking ourselves, how do I progress? What is next for my career? Yet sometimes we aren’t sure where to begin or know enough about the many opportunities that exist in our industry. Whether you are looking to move into a more senior leadership role, build skills to refine your career, or just want to learn about different opportunities that might be a good fit for you, this session will be both educational and fun. We will discuss the many roles and opportunities in the financial and asset management industry. We will also explore best practices around setting goals, establishing and refining your brand, and important credentials that can bring marketability.
