Sue Crotty

Senior Vice President, Chief Investment Officer
Segal Marco Advisors

Ms. Crotty is a Senior Vice President and the Chief Investment Officer of Segal Marco Advisors where she oversees all investment activities and manages the firm’s Research Group. Based in New York, she is part of the Segal Marco Management Committee and a member of the Segal Board of Directors. Ms. Crotty has over 35 years’ experience in the investment business with extensive experience providing advice on asset allocation, manager selection and investment performance to a broad range of clients. Professional background Prior to joining Segal Marco Advisors, Ms. Crotty was a consultant at Callan Associates and Hamilton and Co., working with multiemployer, foundation, corporate and other pension plans in the management of their funds. Ms. Crotty was formerly head of client management at a hedge fund and worked for the pension plan of General Motors and GTE Investments. Education/professional designations Ms. Crotty received her BS from Boston College and her MBA in Finance from the University of Connecticut. She is a former Trustee of the State of New Jersey Division Pension Plan, the Investment Committee of Church of Christ the King and Homeless Solutions in Morristown, NJ. Ms. Crotty was recognized by the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association as a 2021 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Leader. Publications/speeches Ms. Crotty is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events such as the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP).

Elizabeth Cassidy

Senior Portfolio Manager
LGIMA (Chicago)

Elizabeth joined LGIM America’s in 2019 as a senior portfolio manager and is the Head of US High Yield.  She is responsible for portfolio construction and management of LGIM America’s investments in US high yield corporate bonds, working in the Global High Yield team.  Elizabeth joined LGIM America from Driehaus Capital Management where she was a Portfolio Manager for nine years.  While at Driehaus, Elizabeth helped launch and manage a series of multi-strategy long/short credit strategies focusing on high yield, leveraged loans, and distressed securities.  Prior to that, she was a Vice President at Bank of America in the Global Distressed Debt and Special Situations proprietary investing group. She started her career as an investment banking analyst at Credit Suisse.  Elizabeth earned a B.A in economics and French from Middlebury College, cum laude, and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where she was a Keller Scholar.

Samantha Davidson

Senior Partner and U.S. OCIO Segment Leader
Mercer

Samantha Davidson is a Senior Partner and the U.S. OCIO Segment Leader at Mercer.  She oversees the OCIO business and team in the U.S. and is responsible for leading strategic initiatives, driving new business opportunities and serving U.S. OCIO clients.

Samantha joined Mercer in September 2020 from Goldman Sachs, where she spent 17 years as an investment leader across growth businesses within the wealth and asset management divisions.  Most recently, she served as Managing Director and head of client solutions for GS Personal Financial Management, where she focused on driving growth for the high-net-worth wealth management business.  Prior to this, she led the company’s Digital Advice Solutions business, now a part of Marcus by Goldman Sachs, which developed and provided digital financial planning and investment advice for individual clients.  Previously, she was a leader in the global-multi asset class investment solutions business serving pension and non-profit clients as well as the alternatives and manager research business where she primarily focused on private equity and private real estate across primary, secondary and co-investments.

Samantha is a WIN Partner for Women In Need, an organization which runs shelters and supportive housing units for women and their children in New York City.  She has worked in London and San Francisco and currently resides with her husband and children in New York City.

Education and Credentials

Samantha holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s of Science from Duke University.  She is a CFA charterholder.

Lauren Ferry

Head of Portfolio Strategy & Solutions
Nuveen, LLC

Lauren Ferry provides investment advisory solutions through its investment specialists. Nuveen Securities, LLC, member FINRA and SIPC.

Lauren leads Nuveen’s Portfolio Strategy and Solutions team. She oversees the team’s macroeconomic, investment and portfolio construction research and the curation of client-led and portfolio-based thought leadership. The team partners with the firm’s clients in portfolio consulting engagements, delivering forward-looking performance and risk analytics to develop custom asset allocation strategies that span public and private markets. Prior to joining Nuveen in 2019, Lauren was a multi-asset client portfolio manager for Schroders for almost a decade. While at Schroders, she developed and executed the team’s strategy for the U.S. institutional and intermediary channels. Prior to Schroders, she worked in product development roles covering a diverse range of strategies at PineBridge Investments (formerly AIG Investments) and AllianceBernstein. Lauren began her career in investment consulting at Cambridge Associates.

Lauren graduated with a B.B.A. from the College of William & Mary and an M.B.A. from the New York University Stern School of Business.

Jennifer O’Hara Martin

Portfolio Specialist

Jennifer O’Hara Martin is a global equity portfolio specialist in the U.S. Equity Division. She is a member of the Global Growth Equity, Global Focused Growth Equity, Global Select, Global Technology Equity, Communications & Technology Equity, and Science & Technology Equity Strategy teams. Jennifer is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc.

Jennifer’s investment experience began in 1994, and she has been with T. Rowe Price since 2005, beginning in the U.S. Equity Division, when she joined the firm as an equity research analyst covering food retailing and discount stores, in addition to having portfolio management responsibilities for the US Structured Research Equity Strategy. Prior to this, Jennifer was employed by Northern Trust, following telecommunications and business services companies. Jennifer also was employed by Merrill Lynch as an investment banking analyst.

Jennifer earned a B.S. in agricultural economics from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. She presently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Baltimore Museum of Art and is a board member for the Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management, Asset Management Practicum.

Sue McNamara, BA, CFA

Beutel Goodman

Sue joined Beutel Goodman in 2006 and has over 25 years of investment experience. She is a portfolio manager and strategist with additional responsibilities for credit analysis and product design. In August 2022, Sue was appointed Head of Credit and Head of Responsible Investing. Prior to joining BG, Sue worked as a Research Analyst for several of the large brokerage houses, most recently at BMO Nesbitt Burns. Sue is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and is a CFA charterholder.
